<p>This chapter describes an activity which uses role play in the context of serious games that allow players to better understand global wicked problems like climate change. The activity promotes emotional connections created during the game through role-taking. It is exemplified here through the board game Keep Cool, an onsite role play based social simulation of international climate change negotiations aiming to increase understanding of wickedness and the complexity of climate negotiations between countries and global regions.</p>
