New drug shows promise in hard-to-treat prostate cancer with bone spread

Researchers tested a novel compound called ODX in patients with advanced prostate cancer that has metastasized to the skeleton—a notoriously difficult-to-treat subset. The phase II trial results could open a new treatment avenue for a patient population with limited options and significant commercial potential in oncology.

Originaltitel: A randomised, double-blind, dose-finding, phase II multicentre study of ODX in the treatment of patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer and skeletal metastases
