New framework aims to speed up tendon injury treatments using predictive biomarkers
Researchers have proposed combining biological therapies with blood or tissue biomarkers to better predict which tendon patients will recover successfully—and to design faster clinical trials. The approach could reduce treatment failures and accelerate approval of new therapies for injuries that sideline athletes and workers.
