New imaging technology maps blood flow in the brain with unprecedented precision
Researchers have developed an integrated system combining two optical techniques to measure how blood vessels respond to brain activity in humans and large animals with high precision. The advance could accelerate development of diagnostics for stroke, dementia, and other neurological conditions where blood flow problems play a central role.
