Immune cells in tumors linked to breast cancer growth and spread
Researchers have identified a connection between a protein called GATA-3 and immune cells that may help tumors grow, according to new research in PLOS ONE. The finding could guide development of therapies that reprogram these immune cells to fight cancer instead of supporting it.
